We will discuss stress management, movement, sleep, and more which all have influence on your health. There a lots of different small tweaks that can provide big changes in terms of how you feel!

I will review your diet looking at nutrients that support your whole body. You’ll receive detailed suggestions for changes for better health that cater towards you!

Supplement and Herb Review & Suggestions

We’ll talk about your current supplements. Then I’ll provide guidance on dosing, what supplements you might benefit from, and -if you’d like- herbs that are specific to you.

I specialize in helping working, stressed out moms who are looking to put the oxygen masks on themselves first, although I am happy to consult with anyone when it comes to food, lifestyle choices, and herbs/supplements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from the herbal consultation?

During the initial appointment, we will meet for 60-90 minutes, and I will ask you to tell me your health story. I will ask you a lot of questions! The focus of my assessment is on identifying patterns of strength and weakness. Using this information,  I will educate you on nutritional, herbal, and lifestyle options to support your wellness. I may offer you an herbal formula such as a tea or tincture, which will be designed to support the unique needs of your body. I might also recommend any supplements that I think would help you on your health journey.

I treat each client as an individual. My approach is to combine the latest scientific findings and clinical practices with traditional herbalism and healing wisdom.

My healing philosophy is to offer you help and accountability so that you may live your best life.

What are your credentials?

As someone who struggled with no energy, brain fog, lack of motivation, and extra mom weight, I was able to lose 50 pounds over the course of a year by moving more, stressing less, and learning to eat cleaner. I also completed the Holistic Wellness Pathway at Hill College taught by Dr. Lori Rose where I learned about health coaching, nutrition, and herbalism. After completing the program, I earned a certificate as a Holistic Wellness Coach, a Nutritionist, and a Clinical Herbalist. With this newly acquired knowledge, I have worked with several clients to help them with their health and wellness issues such as brain fog, low energy, and weight loss.

I am extremely passionate about helping people feel better about themselves and support them on their journey to better health through food, movement, supplements, and medicinal herbs. I also know that my learning journey will never be finished! I am currently taking classes at Herbal Medics by Sam Coffman on Menopause, Herb Gardening as a Business, and Herbal Medicine for Professionals. Camille Freeman is also someone that I am learning from on how to better serve my clients and their needs. I send out a weekly newsletter and have a published blog where I write two posts a week where I share information with my community to share helpful tips and tricks along with recipes and other information to help them live their best life!

Can I schedule more follow-ups after we completed a program?

Yes. Additional visits can be scheduled as needed. Follow up visits cost $30 for a 30-minute session or $60 for a 60-minute extended session. Extended sessions are used when we haven’t worked together in over 6 months or when you get a new diagnoses or additional time is needed.

How will you integrate with my care team?

I do not claim to cure disease, nor do I offer advice about the use of any type of pharmaceuticals or medications at any time. I have no objections to my clients being seen or evaluated by their own medical doctor. If you have any questions or concerns about your health, I highly recommend you discuss them with your physician. I am available to work as part of your health care team and am happy to consult with you and your physician.

What are your hours?

I work from home and have several blocks of time for availability that include evenings and weekends. Please reach out to me if there is a specific time that you might need!

Do you offer payment plans? Do you accept insurance?

I don’t accept insurance at this point. If you do decide to work with me, you will have the option to pay in installments with no additional fee.

What if I’m not sure about working with you?

If you are not sure about working with me, join my weekly newsletter, read some of my blog posts, or sign up for one of my free monthly webinars. You can even schedule a discovery call with me to ask more specific questions here!

What exactly is the Herbalist Care Chat?

Do you have a question about a specific herb or your health? Maybe you’d like information on a specific supplement? You are wondering what the contraindications are for a specific herb? You have a quick question, but you don’t really want to rely on nor do you trust Google. These and many more non-urgent health needs that don’t require an ER visit are things that I can help with you in my new service: Herbalist Care Chat.

Purchase the package that you’d like and then ask me your question. I will do my best to get back with you with in 6-12 hours- depending on when you ask the question. . . I do sleep and live on a working farm! I will answer you directly through my Practice Better (HIPPA compliant) or I can text you if you’d like. Running low on conversations? Just purchase another set of conversations.

Note: I might not be able to answer your question in a 15-minute conversation and I might need to refer you to a full consultation. I might not know the answer and will direct you to a professional. I will do my best to help you within my scope of practice by giving you options.

I am not a Licensed Medical Doctor and do not diagnose, treat, or cure disease. I am not a Licensed/Registered Dietitian and do not treat disease with nutrition or provide Medical Nutrition Therapy services. Legally, I am able to provide nutritional counseling, herbal consultations, health coaching, and health education services. I make referrals to knowledgeable and effective practitioners whenever a client has a health need that falls outside my scope of practice.
